I would not hesitate to recommend the company, they answered my questions quickly, were friendly and accommodating and I felt offered value for money. Abdul was an absolute star, he arrived on time with all his equipment and worked solidly till the house was clean. I had asked for a deep clean for my mothers house which we had sold. I started using FirstMaid in August 2019, after they were recommended by a co-worker who was very pleased with their services. Yes, they don't have a phone number listed on their website, so I wasn't sure what to make of them at first, but since my attempt to book a regular clean with a different company failed, I decided to give them a go - and I've never regretted it.
For the last 9 months, Kate has been making our flat sparkle every 2 weeks - she is always punctual, efficient and thorough, and it's nice to have around as she's so friendly and nice. And whenever I have a question to ask, or want to change my appointment duration or skip a session, my emails are answered promptly, so I'm never left wondering. All in all, a great clean and great customer service; I've never been charged more than quoted or had any of the issues mentioned in the other reviews. Yes. A minimum booking value of £45 applies. You can combine oven cleaning with hobs, extractors or other appliances to meet the minimum order value.
The service includes cleaning the oven interior, door, racks and removable parts, followed by reassembly and exterior degreasing and polishing. A single oven clean includes up to four racks and one grill pan.
No. We use a professional caustic-free cleaning process to remove built-up grease, carbon and burnt-on food residue from the oven.
Yes. We clean two-, three- and four-oven Aga and Rayburn cookers, as well as side modules. Please send us the make, model or a clear photo so we can confirm the correct service and price.
Yes. We clean gas, electric and ceramic hobs, extractor fans and kitchen hoods. These can be added to an oven cleaning booking or combined with other appliances, subject to the £45 minimum booking value.
Yes. Oven cleaning can be booked as a standalone service or alongside another FirstMaid cleaning service. Discounts may be available when several appliances are cleaned during the same visit.
